The drop shadow is a bread and butter effect so frequently used in our studios that it warranted its own keyboard-shortcut. Adding a drop shadow is one of the best and quickest ways to simulate a 3-Dimensional feel because it adds perceived “depth” to an otherwise flat screen.
Thoughts on making a webpage POP without making a mess
Being an admitted design geek, I appreciate looking at the graphics on ATM screens. I’ve noticed that the coolest ones were always those that had buttons jumping off the screen as if they could be pressed. An impressive set of buttons once almost convinced me to pay a $3.50 surcharge.
